Audi Common ECU Faults - Audi ECU (Austin Cox)
I had just gotten onto the motorway this morning when the car suddenly started jittering and there was a noticeable loss of power, then the engine management light came on so i pulled over to the hard shoulder and stopped. The car still runs but it feels like there is no turbo at all - everything is very linear and the acceleration is VERY SLOW. Caused by loss of vacuum hose seal.
Two items to check are computer-imposed "limp mode" and the MAF sensor.
I recently had some power loss issues under acceleration along with some fuel related codes.
